๕๐. วิหารหลวงวัดมหาธาตุ สุโขทัย
วิหารหลวงวัดมหาธาตุ อยู่ในเมืองเก่าสุโขทัย เป็นวิหารสิบเอ็ดห้อง ภายในวิหารมีฐานที่เคยประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปสำริดขนาดใหญ่พระนามว่า “พระศรีศากยมุนี” ซึ่งถูกชะลอชักลากอัญเชิญมาไว้ที่วัดสุทัศนเทพวราราม กรุงเทพฯ เมื่อครั้งรัชกาลที่ ๑ เสาวิหารทำด้วยแลง ตัดเป็นแผ่นหนา กลม วางเรียงซ้อนกันเป็นรูปเสาโคนใหญ่ ปลายเรียว อนึ่ง ใกล้ๆ กันนี้คือ พระสี่อิริยาบถ ที่ถือเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่โดดเด่นของรูปแบบศิลปะสถาปัตยกรรมการสร้างพระพุทธรูปของดินแดนในท้องถิ่นสุโขทัย ศรีสัชนาลัย และกำแพงเพชร ซึ่งไม่พบเห็นในท้องถิ่นอื่น
50. The Grand Hall of Wat Maha That, Sukhothai
The Grand Hall of Wat Maha That in the old Sukhothai Kingdom is composed of eleven large rooms. It is believed that there is also a niche behind the pedestal in which a bronze Buddha image, named Phra Sri Sakya Muni, was seated.
Nearby are the statues of four Buddha images in four distinctive gestures which are known as Phra Si Iriyabot. The statues show unique characteristics of the distinguished art in casting the images in Sukhothai, Si Satchanalai and Kamphaeng Phet.

50. 수코타이 왓 마하 탓의 대회랑
옛 수코타이 왕국에 위치한 왓 마하 탓의 대회랑은 11개의 큰 방들로 이루어져 있고, 이것은 두 개의 구역으로 나뉩니다. 앞쪽 구역은 사람들이 앉는 곳이고, 뒤쪽 구역은 부처님상을 모시는 곳입니다. 부처님상이 한때 세워진 받침대를 여전히 보실 수 있습니다. 이것은 프라 시 사까야 무니(Phra Si Sakya Muni)라는 이름의 동으로 된 부처상이 놓여있던 받침대 뒤에 공간이 있다고 전해집니다. 받침대 뒤의 공간은 프라 시 사카 무니에 공덕을 비는 사람들이 앉았던 곳일 수도 있습니다. 혹은 위한의 기둥이 원래 자리에서 없어지고 나서 남겨진 빈 공간일 수도 있습니다. 이 자리에는 동상을 옮기던 수레가 있었습니다. 라마 1세 통치 시기에 부처상이 방콕으로 보내지고 왓 수탓 텝와라람의 위한에 보관되었습니다.
프라 시 사카 무니의 아래부분은 부처님 유물을 보관하는 사리탑 중 하나와 유사합니다. 위한의 기둥은 라테라이트의 둥글고 납작한 모양으로 제작하였는데, 기둥 위에 또 하나가 겹쳐지며 크기가 점점 작아지는 모양입니다.무앙보란의 대회랑은 본래 회상에서 3/4 작은 크기로 제작하였습니다.
옆에는 프라 시 이리야봇(Phra Si Iriyabot)이라고 알려진 4가지의 특징적인 동작을 취하고 있는 4개의 부처상이 있습니다. 조각상은 수코타이, 시 삿차나라이(Si Satchanalai), 깜팽펫(Kampaeng Phet)의 조각품에서 나타나는 예술의 독특한 특징을 보여줍니다. 건축 양식은 태국 어느 곳에서도 찾아 보기 힘듭니다.
